Ten city roads renamed, PWD directed to mend city roads by 15th May

Guwahati/ 4th of May’2017 (Prag News Desk): The Guwahati Development Department (GDD) minister Himanta Biswa Sarma declared that ten roads in the Guwahati city has been renamed.

The GS Road has been renamed as Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Path, AT Road renamed as Mahapurush Damodar Dev Path, VIP Road renamed as Mahapurush Madhab Dev Path, Kahilipara-Lal Ganesh road renamed as Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Path, road connecting Ganesh Mandir-Hatigaon to the National Highway 37 renamed as Mahapurush Haridev Path, Kharghuli-Noonmati road renamed as Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Path, Hengerabari-Chachal road renamed as Khagen Mahanta Path, Guwahati Club Rotary renamed as Lakshminath Bezbarua Chowk, Sijubari road renamed as Chaulung Chukafa Path, Beltola-Khanapara road renamed as Azan Fakir Path.

The District Admin directed the PWD to repair the Guwahati roads by 15th May’2017,
