“90,000 crore been executed in Northeast”- Suresh Prabhu

Guwahati/ 11th may 2017 (Prag News Desk): Union Railway Minister laid the foundation stone for construction of a 26 km long new board gauge railway line from Mukongselek in Assam to Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh on 7th May’2017. Here, Suresh Prabhu made announcement of 90,000 crore being executed in Northeast to accelerate developmental work.
It is notable that in the last three years Rs 3.5 lakh crore has been invested for various projects in the country and the advent of new projects, the investment is likely to speed up operations and targets such as the completion of strategic lines connecting Tawang, Along, Pasuramkund in Arunachal by Dec. 2018 may be achieved.
