Prithvi-II ballistic missile successfully test-fired.


Guwahati/ 2nd June’2017 (Prag News Desk): India successfully test-fired Prithvi-II ballistic missile from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in Odisha\’s Balasore at 10.56 am, Friday.

The joint initiative of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) is a surface-to-surface medium ballistic missile that stands 8.56 metres tall with a diameter of 110 centimetres and weighs about 4,600 kilograms.
