State to lodge complaint against sluggish work pace to Centre.
Guwahati/13th June’2017 (Prag News Desk): At at utter displeasure with the progress of highway repair work under assistence of the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) in Assam, the State Government is prepring a report that will content into lodge a written complaint to the Central Government.
PWD Minister Parimal Suklabaidya have already submitted a report to Chief Minister that includes jointly-carrired out review meetings with the NHIDCL.
Incidentally, the NHIDCL is wholly owned company by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, was incorporated on July 18, 2014 and became functional in January 2015 to expedite construction of national highways and other infrastructure in the northeastern region and other strategic areas.
The process is held-fast after Chief Minister Sonowal recently expressed his displeasure over the deplorable condition of NH-37 and demanded a report from the authorities concerned.
