ISIS leader may have killed, claimed Russia

Guwahati/ 16th June’2017 (Prag News Desk): A per Russian official source, Russian air strike near the Syrian city of Raqqa may have killed Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in late May, said Russia’s Defence Ministry on Friday.

Russia launched an airstrike soon after the Russian forces received intelligence message that a meeting of Islamic State leaders was being planned in Syria, the defence ministry said in a statement.

After the confirm information in May 28, about the ISIS leaders meeting place and time using drones technology, Russian air forces launched a strike on the command point where the leaders were located.

Russians officials believed that strike might have killed several IS leader including other senior leaders of the terrorist group. Ministry stated that around 30 field commanders and up to 300 of their personal guards have killed.
