The unrest continues to the seventh day in Gorkhland protest.


Guwahati/ 21st June’2017 (Prag News Desk): Continued violence in the once scenic valley of Darjeeling has created fear among travelers and tourists.
The mass agitation and demand for Gorkhaland enters the seventh day causing the land to go on a standstill.

Expressing fear and questioning the safety, one the guest said it is too risky to come here or travel to West Bengal.

Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) violent agitations over the demand for a separate Gorkhaland had affected the tourism of Darjeeling hills that were forced to cancel visits to either Darjeeling and Kalimpong, sources added.
