Apple to develop assembled parts in India.
Guwahati/ 24th June’2017 (Prag News Desk): Keeping in mind the increased demands for iPhones in India, Apple has decided to launch its manufacturer unit in India .
The Cupertino based maker has started its initial production of a small number of iPhone SE in Bengaluru, which will reach the markets of the country through its distribution agencies Radington and Ingram shortly.
India will be the third country globally to assemble iPhone, hinting how important it has become for one of the world’s most trusted brands. Taiwanese company Wistron, an original equipment manufacturer of iPhone will be making iPhone from now in Peenya, the industrial hub of Bengaluru.
Applauding India’s performance in the market in past few years the Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the 4g launch in the country is one of the main reasons behind the increased rate in sales of the iPhones in the country.
