CBSE North East Zone delayed process tarnishing chances for NE students
Guwahati/ 26th June’2017 (Prag News Desk): In a recent survey conducted by PRAG News, the Central Board of Secondary Education has come into focus in a negative way.
According to the report, many CBSE students, aspiring to get themselves enrolled in the University of Delhi had to come back to the state without getting enrolled in the top colleges of Delhi University.
“My name was listed in the final cut-off sheet but the University denied my admission as we are yet to receive our original passing marksheets from CBSE North East Zone”- a student lamented as Delhi University denied his papers stating them to be inadequate.
Similar incidents came to light as permissions were denied by the administration of Delhi University even after the documents were verified and considered in eminent colleges viz. Hindu College, Hanshraj College and Venkateswara college.
The authorities held back their admissions by asking them to bring their original CBSE mark sheets.
CBSE North East Zone inefficiency is delivering the original marksheets to the students back in North East even after one month, the results were announced is a threat to State’s educational system and the fate of the meritorious students of the State is dwindling by a fragile thread.
