Guwahati/ 27th June’2017 (Prag News Desk): Vijay Goel, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs arrives Mizoram Football Association on Monday at Sairang Dinthar near Aizawl which is currently under construction.
As per source, Goel promised to build up a football academy which will play a success role for Mizoram football in coming years.
Vijay Goel, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs says, “The reason behind I came to this state, as Mizoram is at leading and rising football state of the nation.”
Goel too mentioned his visit to Mizoram in social media where he announcing a new football training academy which will give a new platform for the budding footballers.
Lalnghinglova Hmar, The Mizoram Football Association’s honorary secretary pointed out the success of Mizoram in 2014 Santosh Trophy, 2015 National Games and 2017 I-League Champions Aizawl FC.
He thanked the Mizoram plays for their various contributions in different levels for the nation.
Goel also visited the Suaka Memorial Cricket Ground in Sihhmui and also attend Mission XI Million Football Festival held at Lammual.
