No Goreswar bridge, No Government aid.

Incidentally, the bridge was inaugurated by Chief Minister Sonowal along with BTC chief Hagrama Mohillary, Minister PWD Parimal Suklab BAidya and Kamoli Basumatary, MLA of Paneri.
However, the construction of the bridge has been halted with no indication of future assistance to be conferred.
People of the region shared their bitter experience with Prag News, “its been a year and more the bridge was scheduled to get started but as fate has it, the construction work has been laid unattended since. It is very painful to see our family members toiling extra miles just to reach the other side.”
The project was funded under the Asian Development Bank, regulating the Asian Development Fund (ADF) provides grants to ADB’s lower-income developing member countries (DMCs).
