Major train crash kills 36 in Egypt

Guwahati/ 12th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least 36 people were killed and around 123 were injured in a massive train crash at Alexandria province in Egypt on Friday. The incident took place in Kourshid area as two trains hit each other. Rescue and health team immediately rush on the spot as injured people were admitted to the nearest hospital in Alexandria and Beheira. Around 75 ambulances were transferring victims to the hospitals. The Alexandria-bound train travelling from Cairo hits the train coming from Port Said Mediterranean city to Alexandria. Egypt’s general prosecutor directed the administration to investigate the accident. Rescue team using cranes to remove the destroying parts of the trains. The Egypt government has marked it as a major incident.
