Nagaland celebrates its first ever international children film festival
Guwahati/ 12th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): In association with Nagaland Board of school education,the Children’s Film Society of India inaugurated the first ever International children’s film festival Nagaland on 27th July at the Regional Center of Excellence for Music & Performing arts, Jotsoma.
Movies of different genres and languages were shown among the students throughout the festival.Movies made by children in Taiwan,UAE and Belgium were among the chief attractions of the festival followed by quiz competitions,storyboard writing competition,script writing competition and prize distribution among the students.
Expressing creativity through mobile phones,different workshops on the grammar of film making were also held during the festival.
Intending to help children express their talents and to teach them how to reach out to their audiences through the platform of social media, an exclusive talk show on creative expression was also planned as a part of the festival
According to sources,More than 6000 children from different parts of the world were seen taking part in various activities in the festival.
