Earth’s largest volcanic region discovered

Guwahati/ 14th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): Researchers discovered largest volcanic region of Earth in west Antarctica. The volcanic region is had 100 volcanoes which is discovered two km from the surface in the vast ice street. The research is done by the researchers of University of Edinburgh in Britain found 91 unknown volcanoes, source added. The newly discovered volcanoes range is of 100 to 3,850 m. The tallest volcano of Antarctica’s height is closer to Switzerland’s Eiger Mountain which is of 3,970m. Robert Bingham, glacier expert warned that if the volcano were to erupt it would destroy the whole of west Antarctica. Bingham also added that the big question comes how much these volcanoes were active which we need to determine it quickly.
