133 people evacuated from wildfire in Portugal

Guwahati/ 17th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least 133 people were evacuated from Macao due to intense wildfire in Portugal on Thursday. The wildfire started began which close down the national roads on Wednesday. National Authority for Civil Protection sent 970 firefighters, 260 fire trucks and 15 airplanes battling to control down the situation. The neighbouring country Spain sent four planes with 163 firefighter and 27 trucks in the rescue operation. Government officials reported that at least 86 people were injured and were admitted to the hospital for treatment where seven were in serious condition. The wildfire took place in the village of Vila do Rei where over 363 firefighters and 100 trucks fighting to control the flames.
