Samsung’s vice chairman jailed for five years
Guwahati/ 25th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): The vice chairman Lee Jae-yong of country’s largest company Samsung was sentenced jail by South Korean Supreme Court for five years. Samsung is listed among the global companies from technology and real estate. Jae-yong was charged as he was found guilty of corruption in a watershed moment for the East Asian nation. Jae-yong is the most powerful man in the country who was convicted with crimes like bribery, embezzlement and perjury. Five years sentenced prison of Mr Jae-yong will damage the company’s global reputation and long-term strategy. The global shares fall down by 1.5 per cent after the verdict.
