12 killed in heavy rainfall in Pakistan

Guwahati/ 31th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least 12 people were killed and several injured due to heavy rainfall at Karachi in Pakistan on Thursday. The incident happens due to continuous heavy rainfall in the southern port city of Karachi. Seven died due to electrocution and other died due to wall collapse over them. The incident took place in two different parts in the city. Due to tremendous rainfall the schools were directed to remain closed and electricity were disrupted by grid station. Road and rail services were affected due to heavy rainfall which also affected the civilians who were travelling from one place to another due to upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Adha. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department informed heavy rainfall would continue in the city till next 24 hours. And also warns the fishermen to skip fishing till Saturday.
