Guwahati/ 31th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least 10 people killed and 60 were severely injured as four-storeyed building collapsed in south Mumbai on Thursday. The incident took place near J J Hospital on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road as residents were living in the old and disrepair building, source added. The BMC disaster control officials immediately rushed on the spot and putting all their effort rescue the trapped people. A team of 90 NDRF and 150-strong team of fire brigade personnel and workers were putting their effort to control up the situation. Two sniffer dog squads, electronic gadgetry including five fire engines with two JCBs and one crane and other machines were used to rescue the buried people. Officials said looking at the situation death toll would rise. After Mumbai deluge this is the major building collapse. In past five days six people died and several got injured after the Chandivali crash.
