801 died in Philippines
Guwahati/1st September’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least 801 people killed in last three months in a clash between army and Islamic State-backed rebels at Marawi city in Philippines, authorities said on Friday. Nearly 620 rebels, 136 soldiers and 45 civilians were killed in the conflict and around 360,000 people were displaced which includes half of children were displaced since May 23. The Philippine army officials said at around 50 IS militants were still in the city which Philippine army is still fighting to clear it. Hundreds of Maute group along with foreign fighters have joined together to fight against the army as army were putting all their effort to free Marawi to protect civilians.
