Modi-Xi agreed to maintain peace
Guwahati/5th September’2017 (Prag News Desk): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to maintain peace with deepen ties in border areas in a bilateral meeting on Tuesday. In the 9th BRICS Summit Modi and Xi agreed to maintain peace in their border areas by increasing the development relationship between both the nations, source added. The most important thing which was discussed in the 9th BRICS Summit is the peace and tranquility in the border area of India and China. In the last month Indian and Chinese troops ended the tense stand-off situation which was started from last June on the Doklam border. The stand-off situation affected the bilateral ties between the nations. The meeting of Modi and Xi is marked as the core discussion of the summit as both the leader concluded by looking forward with development for both nations.
