The teacher, who knows no constraints
Guwahati/5th September’2017 (Prag News Desk):Teachers’ day is celebrated in honour and appreciation of teachers who nourish and mould children’s talent and help them discover their true self. It is only possible for teachers like Ravi Sankar Ramsiyari from Nowkata, who despite being constrained to his wheelchair never denies to bestow his student with the best of his knowledge and wisdom.
According to sources in spite of being constrained to the surrounding of his wheel chair, Mr. Ramsiyari has been providing education to his students for years.His wife while talking to Prag News expressing a shy of relief said “I grieve not for his condition rather I am happy that my husband is able to contribute towards community through his knowledge.”
On today’s auspicious teachers’ day Prag News salutes those selfless teachers, who have sacrificed their lives towards enlightening human minds with their sheer knowledge and wisdom.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently in China for the BRICS summit was also seen paying tribute to the teachers on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan today.
While Greeting the entire teachers’ community Modi said ,”On Teachers’ day, I salute the teaching community that is devoted to nurturing minds and spreading the joys of education in society. Teachers have a central role in realising our dream of a ‘New India’ that is driven by cutting edge research and innovation,”
He also added that the next five years should be about teach to transform, educate to empower and learn to lead.
On the other hand, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also paying his tribute to the teachers on this teachers’ day said “ I salute all teachers for shaping and moulding our lives. Thank you for showing us the path to lead a meaningful life”.
