India’s first Centre for Animal Law inaugurated

Guwahati/15th September’2017 (Prag News Desk): Union Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi inaugurated India’s first Centre for Animal Law in NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad on Friday. After the inauguration of the centre Maneka Gandhi advised the students to go for research on critical issues. Research in several issues about animal rights and welfare will create lots of scope to understand animal closely. The centre will provide curriculums on animal welfare laws, projects works, seminars, workshop including research works in developing projects. The centre to conduct workshop with animal welfare advocates, law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders in the government on animal laws and welfare.
