Guwahati/27th September’2017 (Prag News Desk): The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) unveils on Tuesday that the South Asian Championship to be held in Guwahati. The prestigious tournament will start from December 6 to 10. The announced were made by the President Ajay Singh after the fifth executive committee meeting of the Boxing Federation of India. The announcements were made after the fifth executive committee meeting of the federation chaired by the President Ajay Singh. This is for the first time the India will host the South Asian Championship and the BFI have selected decided Guwahati to be the host city for the tournament. SAARC countries like Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh including other south Asian countries were taking part in the tournament. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine who were known for top boxing nations in Asia were coming to Guwahati to participate in the tournament.
