37 killed, 40 missing in Vietnam flood
Guwahati/12th October’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least 37 people were killed and 21 people were injured in a tremendous flood and landslide in Vietnam. The police officials have said that injured people were under treatment and around 40 people were reported as missing. The tremendous flood have damaged over 16,700 houses, and more than 39,300 hectares of crops were damaged and many animals have faced hardship in the deluge said the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control on Thursday. 11 victims were from Hoa Binh province, eight victims each from Nghe An and Thanh Hoa, five victims from Son La and four from Yen Bai and and one from Hanoi city who have lost their life in flood and landslide. Many civilians around the country have lost their shelter and starving from food as the administration have started their rescue operation to find out the missing people. Rescue camps and foods were provided to the victims. Police officials have said that death toll would rise.
