One police killed and three injured in Darjeeling clash

Guwahati/13th October’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least one police official was killed and three other were injured in an exchange of fire between security forces and Gorkha Janmukti Morcha in Darjeeling on Friday. The incident took place at West Bengal’s northern hills as the GJM lead by Bimal Gurung attacked the police officials who were moving towards their operational headquarters. Sub Inspector Amit Malik was shot dead by bullets and three others police officials were also injured. The security forces immediately rush on the spot to control up the situation as the injured officials were sent to the nearest hospital for treatment. The exchange of gunfire continued till an hour as police officials recovered six AK47 rifles, a pistol, 500 rounds of cartridges and explosive.
