Fide Trainers’ Seminar to be held in the city


Guwahati/ 8th November’2017 (Prag News Desk): The All Assam Chess Association (AACA) announced to organise a three day Fide Trainers’ Seminar that will be held on December 15 to 17 at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in Paltanbazar, Guwahati.
The announcement was made in presence of the General Secretary of All India Chess Federation Bharat Singh Chauhan. Chess grandmaster Jacob Aagaard of Scotland, RB Ramesh, Vishal Sareen and Lanka Ravi will provide training to 40 couches that were selected from eight northeastern states. The seminar will also include coaching camp for the 50 young talented chess player of the region. All India Chess Federation to provide free registration, travelling, lodging and food for the selected participants. For the first time in the region such seminar is organised at the free of cost by All India Chess Federation with the help of Government of India. This seminar will help the young chess talent to showcase their talent and to learn more about the game which will help them to make more impact during their match. The General Manager of All India Chess Federation Bharat Singh Chauhan said that AICF are committed to promote the Chess game in the entire northeastern region. AICF to put their effort and supports to the region by taking important initiative in the future.
