“May” drive to deport Bangladeshi migrants from Assam.


Guwahati/ 12th April’2017 (Prag News): Post NIBBUSS ruckus in support of Hindu Bangla migrants from Bangladesh in the State followed by ponderous protest by AASU has taken a shape-shifter to Lok Sabha. The session that witnessed the members demanding a constitutional remedy, a permanent solution to illegal migration into the state of Assam.

The members also demanded to form a commission by the government of India to identify the districts that had demographically changed over the years, in new creed.
Illegal infiltration has outgrown the size of state’s demographic status and now has resulted in misappropriation of employment opportunities.
BJP MP from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey claimed that demography of the states of Assam, West Bengal and Tripura have changed. There had been an alarming rise in crime rate since including terrorism and it will continue to happen because the Indo-Bangladesh border is open and unattended.
