Guwahati/ 28th June’2017 (Prag News Desk): Flood situation in Assam has hit almost 87,000 people, including several districts of the state till date.
According to a survey report of Prag News, around 131 villages of the state are submerged at present and 148 hectares of crop land have been damaged.
A group of school going students from Boko sharing their situation today, appealed the Chief Minister of the state to take appropriate measures to deal with the devastating food in the region.
“We have been facing this flood over 15 years from now. School and college going students are specifically affected by the flood. Crops get damaged every year due to flood in the region”, a flood affected person from Teok said, sharing his plight with our correspondent.
