At least 21 killed in heavy rain at Japan

Guwahati/ 10th July’2017 (Prag News Desk): At least 21 people were killed and 20 were reported missing due to heavy rains at Kyushu Island in Japan on Monday.

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) informed the region may receive 100 mm of rain within a day.

JMA warns and alerts the people as possible landslide may occur due to by storms, source added.

Around 1,800 people have been rescued from Fukuoka and Oita region to safe place on Monday.

Heavy rains have led to one of the greatest natural disasters in the country in recent decades.
