Indo-American holds a jointly powerful protest in United States


Guwahati/ 18th July’2017 (Prag News Desk): Indo-American along with the other communities jointly held protest in three different cities to express their angriness over lynching minorities by mobs in India and Modi government’s policies which are emboldening such forces.

The protest took place at San Diego and San Jose on Sunday as the protest lead by the Alliance for Justice and Accountability.

AJA informed in their release that another protest scheduled on 23rd of July going to held at New York City, source added.

The protest is marked similar as “Not In My Name” that held across various cities in India.

AJA joined with Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice while protesting in San Jose and in upcoming protest at New York South Asia Solidarity Initiative will also lead the protest.

The reason for protesting as protestor slammed for killing of mostly Muslims and Dalits in the name of cow protection.

Suhail Syed, Protest organizer said the reign of terror unleashed by Hindu supremacist cow vigilantes is clearly targeted at browbeating the nation’s religious minorities into the status of second class citizens

AJA told they will work with people to defend India from the hate and divisiveness.
