Harmanpreet Kaur’s superb century trashed Australia


Guwahati/ 21st July’2017 (Prag News Desk): Indian all-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur scored superb 171 which helped India to trashed Kangaroos by 36 runs in the semis in Women’s World Cup on Thursday.

India to meet the home team England in the finals to be held at The Lord’s in  on Sunday.

Kaur’s century includes 20 fours and seven massive sixes which helped India to set up target of 282 for its opponent.

The top star team Australia was being put into pressure from the beginning of the second innings.

After the disciplined deliveries by the Indian bowlers Australians were stopped at 245 in the semis.

After the victory over the Australia, India enters into second World Cup finals. Last it was in 2005 where India was trashed out by the Australians in the finals at Centurion.

Australian Elyse Villani scored 75 and Ellyse Perry scored 38 leads with 105-run fourth wicket but failed to take away the match from the hands from the Indians.
