40 Pakistani teachers left for Chinese language training
Guwahati/ 25th July’2017 (Prag News Desk): 40 Pakistani teachers left for Beijing to receive Chinese language training.
See-off ceremony was organised for the teachers at the Chinese embassy on Sunday.
Eminent personality Zhao Lijian, charge d’affaires of the Chinese embassy and Arshad Ali, Executive Director of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan were present in the event, source added.
Every year group of Pakistani teachers visits China for language training. It was the third batches who were receiving the Chinese language training under the International Chinese Language Teacher Training Programme.
It was a 15 days programme held every year sponsored by Chinese Government.
In the group of 40 teachers it includes 26 males and 14 females.
Masooma Nayyar, Headmistress, Pakistan’s southwest province of Balochistan says, “I am very excited for such training and initiative taken by the Chinese government which will help me to understand Chinese culture and language.”
Confucius Institutes made available in many part of Pakistan which gives training to Pakistani students to receive training in Chinese language.
