Lunar eclipse to be visible tonight
Guwahati/ 7th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): India will enable to see the Penumbral and Partial lunar eclipse on 7th and 8th August. Penumbral eclipse can be seen in the sky at around 9.22 pm of August 7 and will be continue till 2.20 am of August 8. The Partial eclipse can be seen from 10.55 pm of August 7 and will be end after 47 minutes of midnight. SPACE India had said the maximum eclipse will be visible at 11.51 pm. Astronomy organisation said that the total visible duration of Penumbral eclipse is five hours and one minute and Partial eclipse will be visible for one hour and 55 minutes.
The Partial eclipse will be visible in Africa, Asia and Australia. SPACE India said the moon will be at meridian when the eclipse occurs which will be seen in Central Asia and India. The August 7 lunar eclipse is connected with the upcoming major solar eclipse of August 21.
