Cabinet approves new metro rail policy
Guwahati/ 16th August’2017 (Prag News Desk): The Union Cabinet approved the new metro rail policy on Wednesday. The policy indicates to expand the metro network across various cities and also talks about the standardizing norms for implementing projects to expand the metro to the other cities. Project added about the fundings and financing for the constructions of upcoming metro project. Major metro project includes distance more than 350 km in the eight cities of India in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Gurugram. On the other hand Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Pune and Lucknow were the cities where metro projects were underway.
