Indian-American appointed as Deputy Assistant in US
Guwahati/14th September’2017 (Prag News Desk): Indian-American Raj Shah was appointed as the Deputy Assistant to US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, said the White House. The 32 years old was also appointed as the Principal Deputy Press Secretary. Earlier Shah used to serve as Deputy Communications Director. Nominations of Shah’s came days after Trump decided to appoint Manisha Singh, Indian-American as the Assistant Secretary of State, Economic and Business Affairs. Shah was born in Gujarat who later moved to the US in 1980. He was also listed among the few who were appointed to White House, after few hours Trump was sworn in as US President in January, source added. During the presidency of George W Bush, Shah served as a research assistant. In 2008, he was a part of campaign team of John McCain who lost to Barack Obama.
