Guwahati/ 16th November’2017 (Prag News Desk): The first digital pill with an embedded sensor, has been approved by U.S. regulators. This amazing medicine, developed by Proteus Digital Health, used particularly for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. It has the size of a grain of salt and its sensor has no battery or antenna and is activated when it gets wet from stomach juices.

This Ingenious medicine helps the patients to track if patients are taking their medication properly, marking a significant step forward in the convergence of healthcare and technology. The working process of it is it sends the information to a mobile application from a wearable patch, which receives message from the pill’s sensor.
