Abnormal water levels of Brahmaputra causes new worries…


Guwahati/ 24th December’2017 (Prag News Desk): As informed by the Water Resources Department (WRD), the water levels at Brahmaputra and other rivers in Assam are receding at an abnormal manner.

The WRD has been measuring the water level of Brahmaputra with ADCP equipment which measured that the water level during December was found around 2,200 cubic meters per cumecs (second) at Pandu. The same measurement fluctuated to 4000 cubic meters per cumecs at Nematighat.
