The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of Class 10 board examinations. Anil Swarup, the secretary of school education and literacy with the Union ministry of human resource development, announced the date and time for the result in a tweet on Monday.
A total of 16,38,420 candidates registered for the Class 10 exam conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres abroad.
Prakhar Mittal, a student of DPS sector 45, Gurugram topped the country after scoring 499/500 I class 10, CBSE exams.
As per CBSE reports, this year pass percentage is 86.7%. The pass percentage for girls is 88.67% while for the boys it is 85.32%.
Prakhar Mittal has been designated the top post who shares his accomplishments along with three others: Rimzhim Agarwal from RK Public school Bijnor, Nandini Garg from Scottish International school Shamli and Sreelakshmi G from Bhavan Vidyalayas Cochin have secured 499/500 marks.
Union HRD minister, Prakash Javadekar, has congratulated the students for their amazing results and wished for their bright future through a social media platform.
