Mikhail fears for his life from mother Indrani Mukerjea
In another twist to the sensational Sheena Bora murder case, one of the prime witnesses’ Mikhail Bora has claimed that there is a threat to his life in Assam from his mother Indrani Mukerjea and has written to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) looking help.
The CBI has brought the matter to the notice of the trial court in Mumbai. Taking note of the safety concerns, the CBI has filed an application before the court seeking direction from the Assam police to give security to Bora. Indrani is presently lodged in a Mumbai jail.
Mikhail seeks CBI help
As per information, Bora has sent a mail to the CBI stating that he fears his mother, who has been accused of killing his sister Sheena, will try to harm him too.
According to reports, the email alleged that Indrani Mukerjea did not want her mother’s will to be certified as valid by the court and hence she is trying to harm Mikhail Bora.
Sources said that, as per the will, Mikhail Bora was to get all the property, sidelining Indrani Mukerjea. Mikhail has reportedly written that he stays alone in the house and his life is under threat from his mother.
The Sheena Bora murder case has been one of the most debated cases in the country so far.
254 year old Sheena was abducted and strangled to death by Indrani on April 24, 2012, allegedly over a property dispute, and her body was disposed off in a remote area in Maharashtra, as per reports.
Currently, Indrani, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and her current husband Peter Mukerjea are facing trial for the murder of Sheena.
According to the CBI, Indrani, after murdering Sheena, tried to kill Mikhail too by spiking his drink but he escaped and got to know beforehand what his mother had planned for him.
