Ex-Minister Rakibul Hussain’s Gurugram property raided

The sleuths of Vigilance and Anti-corruption wing of Assam Police and Gurugram police jointly conducted a raid on properties allegedly belonging to former State Forest Minister Rakibul Hussain in the Gurugram area.

Rakibul Hussain’s property under IT Scanner

As per reports, the joint team raided a property in DLF Phase II in Sector 2 of Gurugram on Thursday.

In the past, former Assam Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Anil Raja has alleged Hussain of inheriting several properties across the country and as per sources, the Gurugram raids were conducted on the basis of information allegedly provided by Raja and also some inputs gathered by the Anti-corruption wing.

Rakibul Hussain’s Gurugram property under surveillance

It has been alleged that Hussain owns several properties and assets in Gurugram, Vasant Kunj and Vasant Vihar areas of Delhi.

Ex-minister Rakibul Hussain has been under the radar for accumulating undisclosed property spread across the country. His fleet of cars and money has been taken away by IT department and is under investigation as how a government servant amassed such huge property.
