Kalita, as reported, went to the Central Mall, located at the GS Road, along with wife and son at around 9 pm on Sunday. While his vehicle was on its way to the mall’s parking area, two security guards and one staff of the mall had reportedly sent back the car. The security officials also behaved “rudely” with his wife and son, as per reports.

Kalita told Nath that without “protesting”, he came out of the mall’s parking area and parked his car outside the mall. His car was sans any VIP pass and the MLA was not accompanied by his personal bodyguards and hence he was taken as a common man.

After parking his car outside the mall, while he was on his way to the mall, he saw that other luxury cars were allowed to park inside the mall’s parking area. Enraged at the discrimination, Kalita finally revealed his identity following which an argument took place between the MLA and the security guards and mall officials.
