Rs 6 lakh looted by miscreants using BANDOR KEKORA

On Wednesday, a group of miscreants looted around Rs 6 lakh cash in Jorhat’s Tarajan area by allegedly using BANDOR KEKORA or Mucuna Pruriens also known as Bengal Velvet Bean. The miscreants looted the cash from a person who had come to UBI Tarajan Bank along with his son to withdraw the said amount.

The miscreants threw BANDOR KEKORA on the identified as Hemkanta Hazarika and made use of his helplessness to flee with the cash that was kept in his car.

Sources said that Hemkanta told his son he was feeling little unwell after they came out from the bank and his son got up from the driver’s seat and came to the passenger’s side to check what happened when a miscreant took away the bag carrying Rs 6 lakh from the car and escaped from the spot.

Meanwhile, Tarajan Police has reached the spot and are investigating the matter, police have not been able to ascertain the whereabouts of the miscreants.
