Thowra: The first round of vote counting to five assembly constituencies have ended. In Thowra LAC BJP's Sushanta Borgohain is taking the lead by 2736+ votes. BJP has accounted 4,215 votes while Raijor Dal has grabbed 851 votes in the first round.
Dhoijyo Konwar of Raijor Dal is competing against BJP' Sushanta Borgohain in Thowra LAC.
Congress is yet to open their account in Thowra seat.
Meanwhile in Bhabanipur, BJP is advancing with 5754 votes, Congress got 598 votes in the first round.
In Mariani, BJP's Rupjyoti Kurmi is heading by 3500 votes in the first round.
