Assam CM Sarma replies to Rahul Gandhi's remark upon Amit Shah's political 'indecency'
Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma replied to Rahul Gandhi's comment upon Amit Shah's political 'indecency.' Assam CM Sarma reminded Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of the Pidi episode.

CM Sarma stated that those who choose to feed biscuits to dogs in the presence of leaders from Assam and then offer them the same biscuits should be the last individuals to talk concerning political morality.

On this, CM Sarma tweeted, "Mr Rahul Gandhi, those who prefer to feed biscuits to dogs in the presence of leaders from Assam and then offer them the same biscuits should be the last people to talk about political decency. High command mindset is INC's be-all and end-all. The people of India know it well."

This tweet came as a reply after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused Union home minister Amit Shah of political indecency in his speech in the Lok Sabha.

While repeating a happening described to him by a Manipur leader, Rahul Gandhi said a delegation of political leaders went to Amit Shah's House and were asked to remove their shoes.

Though when they moved inside, Amit Shah was seen wearing chappals. Demanding an apology from Amit Shah, Rahul Gandhi stated this is not the manner to deal with the individuals of India. Rahul Gandhi told this again indicates that they are not equal.

The accusation was directed to a disruption inside the House. MPs said that it is not valid. To that, Rahul Gandhi stated, "I even told them that this is not valid. Though they pointed me, they have pictures."

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that when he and a few Assam leaders met Rahul Gandhi, he was actively feeding biscuits to his dog Pidi and was not interested in the meeting.
