Digital Desk: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has tested positive for covid. On Monday, his office informed that he has isolated himself and has confined himself to his home.
"Honourable Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar's coronavirus test was found to be positive. As per the doctors' advice, he is in home isolation. He has appealed to everyone to take precautions against the virus," said the tweet by the CMO, Bihar.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said earlier in the day that he had tested positive for covid. However, he said he had "minimal symptoms" and is under home quarantine in a tweet.
"I have tested positive for Corona today with mild symptoms. I am under home quarantine. I request everyone who have recently come in my contact to isolate themselves and get tested," Singh said.
