    Manipur Polls 2022: BJP will form the next government, says CM N Biren Singh
    Digital Desk: Manipur's chief minister N. Biren Singh stated that he believes that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win more than 40 seats in the forthcoming Manipur polls 2022 and form the next government. 

    During an interview with Utpal Parashar, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh elaborated his views on BJP's election prospects in upcoming Manipur polls 2022, performances, and the northeastern states' additional issues.

    When asked how BJP is conducting campaigns for the upcoming Manipur Polls 2022, CM N. Biren Singh commented with an optimistic note. CM Singh stated that the party is doing campaigns through virtual mode like social media ads since the election commission has banned in-person rallies due to the surge of the Covid-19.

    Moreover, CM Singh also stated that he is optimistic about BJP winning more than 40 seats in the next Manipur assembly elections. He added, "We are fully confident of forming the next government."

    CM N. Biren Singh was also asked regarding the significant achievements of the party in the last five years. He said, "In the last five years, the BJP-led state government has accomplished so numerous things in terms of governance, welfare movements and development undertakings including infrastructure, besides the prevailing progress in law and order."

    "Through the Go to Hills, we have gained significant improvement in bridging the hill-valley divide and reviving the spirit of the hill individuals, while even balancing the growth budget in the hill regions through improved allocation based on topography. Individuals have been able to avail several facilities and welfare benefits under various schemes directly. Through the Go to Village mission, we have been capable of taking management at the village level, even to the remote and interior provinces of the state."

    CM Singh further added, "One of the most noteworthy accomplishments of the government is providing a bandh blockade free Manipur, which had long been hindering growth and stability in the state."

    On asked about the repeal of AFSPA from Manipur, Singh commented that uprising and AFSPA had always been crucial matters. Yet, in recent periods, we have brought rebel activities to a bare minimum while conducting stability and normalcy in the state. "Individuals are starting to sense the difference, and we are pleased that we have achieved this quickly."
