• Rich people are becoming richer; poor are becoming poorer: Manmohan Singh Slams PM Modi

Digital Desk: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, attacking the BJP-led government in the center, alleged that the government’s farm-law policies had raised people’s debt in the country. There is a problem in both the intention and the policies of this government. Rich people are growing wealthy while poor people are getting poorer.” said the former PM in a video message shared by Congress in their official YouTube channel.     In addition to it, the former PM criticizing the government’s international policy stated, “The issue is not restricted to the nation. This administration has also failed in terms of foreign policy. He charged the BJP-led administration with attempting to bury the problem of Chinese incursions near India’s border. China sits on our border, and there are measures to suppress it.” the former prime minister asserted. Further, he added that “Relationships do not improve by offering hugs to politicians or going to eat free biryani. It’s simple to talk big, but putting things into effect is quite tough.” Manmohan Singh stated. Moreover, the former PM accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his BJP government of blaming Jawaharlal Nehru for every problem that arises in the nation. People are suffering from inflation and unemployment; on the other hand, the current government, which has been in power for the past seven and a half years, instead of admitting and rectifying its mistakes, continues to blame the first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, for the people’s problems.” He said. “The Prime Minister’s job, in my opinion, is very important. Instead of using history to minimize flaws, the PM should keep his dignity. I spoke through my work over my ten years as Prime Minister. I never let the country’s image in the eyes of the world deteriorate. I never made a joke on India’s pride.” he added. Moreover, in the video, the former PM also mentioned the security breakdown that caused PM Modi’s convoy to get stuck on a flyover in Punjab for 20 minutes due to a farmer’s protest.
