    Digital Desk: Congress leader Debabrata Saikia said that the party would nominate Ripun Bora as their candidate with due approval and signatures of 43 MLA.


    Informing the same at a press meet which was also joined by Rajior Dal, the Congress leader said, "Altogether we are 28 MLAs; we show our complete confidence; other parties like All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF)had also promised to cast their 15 votes in our favor. However, for unavoidable reasons, CPI(M) MLA couldn't be present at the press meet."


    Meanwhile, Raijor Dal supremo Akhil Gogoi remarked that his party would make Ripun Bora win the seat. "That's our pledge; we also appeal to everyone to cast their valuable votes in favor of Ripun Bora. We will cast our votes from tomorrow morning unitedly," said Gogoi.


    On the other hand, Ripun Bora quoted, " This election is an election of ideology that will run throughout the nation of India".


    "It's a fight between Secularism and religious propaganda," said Bora.


    Further, Bora claimed that his party would be blessed with votes to save democracy, Secularism, and the Honorable Constitution, and we would undoubtedly win.
