Royal Enfield Scram 411 gets launch in India, know details here

The new RE Scram 411 is built on the same Half-Duplex split cradle structure built by the Himalayan ADV.

Digital Desk: The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Scram 411 has finally arrived in India, priced at Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom). It's essentially a Scrambler with a Himalayan Adventure theme.

Royal Enfield has created considerable configuration alterations to set it apart from the Adventure. White Flame, Silver Spirit, Blazing Black, Skyline Blue, Graphite Red, Graphite Blue, and Graphite Yellow are the seven color choices for the latest RE Scram 411.

The motorcycle lacks the Himalayan's beak-like front fender. Instead, a single-piece pillion grab rail substitutes the baggage stand on the bike. Halogen headlamps, LED taillights, and bulbous turn indicators are fitted.

The Himalayan-modelled Royal Enfield Scram 411 is powered by a 411cc single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled SOHC fuel injection motor. This engine delivers a peak torque of 32Nm at 4,250rpm and maximum energy output of 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm. A 5-speed gearbox transmits power to the rear wheels.

The new RE Scram 411 is built on the same Half-Duplex split cradle structure built by the Himalayan ADV. The motorcycle has 41mm telescopic front forks with 190mm of travel and a monoshock unit in the back.

The motorcycle has a 19-inch front wheel with a 100/90 section tyre and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 120/90 section tyre. The motorcycle's wheelbase is 1455mm, and it has a 200mm ground clearance. The bike is 2160mm long, 840mm wide, and 1165mm tall, 795mm seat height. The motorcycle's dry weight is 185kg, which is 6.5kg less than the Himalayan. It has a gasoline tank with a capacity of 15 litres.

The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes with a 300mm front disc with a 2-piston floating caliper and a 240mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper for braking. It comes standard with dual-channel ABS, but Himalayan has switchable ABS.
