Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election: Amit Shah to Release BJP Manifesto Today in Lucknow
Digital Desk: The much-anticipated Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) manifesto for the Uttar Pradesh assembly election will be released today in Lucknow by Union Home Minister Amit Shah after the event was postponed in honour of iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar.

The party statement stated that the BJP's 'Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra' would be released on February 8, 2022, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

According to reports, the BJP's 'Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra' manifesto may include issues like nationalism, development, good governance, and the development of Kashi Mathura.

According to sources, some of the recommendations for the BJP's manifesto were asked from the general public, and some of them may be included in the 'Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra.' Following Akhilesh Yadav's promise in his party's manifesto to provide 300 free units of energy, it is speculated that the BJP's platform will contain a statement regarding the outstanding electricity bill.

Notably, the state's polling is scheduled to begin in two days, on February 10. It will be held in seven phases on February 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7. The results of the election will be announced on March 10.

On Monday, during a virtual rally, in Bijnor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a harsh attack on Akhilesh Yadav's party.

According to PM Modi, the water in the river of development was stagnating among "false Samajwadis and their close associates."

According to ANI, PM Modi said, "These folks never had anything to do with the hunger of the average man for development, progress, and emancipation from poverty."

Moreover, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath was also present at the Bijnor rally, where he urged voters to punish those who spread false information on the covid-19 vaccine with their votes.

Notably, the BJP enjoyed a massive victory in the 2017 Assembly elections, capturing 312 seats. In the elections for the 403-member Assembly, the party received 39.67 percent of the vote. While the Samajwadi Party (SP) won 47 seats, the BSP 19 seats, and the Congress only seven seats.
