Assam’s Covid-19 tally crosses 38407, 2112 new cases recorded in the past 24hrs

Guwahati: Assam’s Covid-19 numbers is soon going to touch 40,000 after 2112 new coronavirus cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. The state’s total active cases stand at 9230.

As per reports, 41028 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Kamrup (M) has reported-283, Nagaon-211, Kamrup (R) has 210 cases and Sonitpur has 132 cases today. The positivity rate is 5.14%.

Meanwhile, 1248 patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours as confirmed by Assam State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma via twitter. 29080 patients have been discharged till date. “The consistency of our good recovery rate is a reflection of continuous efforts and dedication of our teams. Gratitude,” said the minister in his tweet.
